Getting EMO-tional
Sunday, March 12, 2006

To me, secondary school days are the most carefree days of my life.
From there, I learnt how relationships between people should be like.
To almost fully comprehend what's friendship, leadership, kinship et cetera.
And this is also the period when you want to find out more about Love/BGR.
It was also my school that taught me how babies come about. Hahahaha.
During my upper secondary days, I finally know how different "love" is from "infatuation".
.
In my POV, "infatutation" is sweet. Your heart beat races madly, a thousand and one butterflies colliding in your stomach, a giantic knot in struggling to be untied, and the imense heat trapped within your body waiting to break free.
You struggled to act indifferent. You restrict yourself not to look into his way. But you find yourself not obliging.
.
On the other hand, "love" is a lethal word. Lethally gorgeous, and lethally destructive.
You get to live in the oblivion that comes what may, he will be there. He will support the whole already fallen sky with his spike hairdo. He shares with you his Oreo - you get the cream side. And that by holding hands, you learn that heat trapped for sure raise the temperature - you begin to trust your Physics teacher. You also gradually found out that hands do turn cold, so does the heart, then you learn it's time to part. To find that you are not-so-sane after breakup calls. To deal with post-breakup's kickup huge ass fuss, trouble bubble, and piecing up your most original heartbreak jiggsaw pieces - finding your way out of the maze to leave sadness.
And you will find that happiness is only a state of mind.
Eventually, you surprise yourself to know that parting is only part and parcel of life. And breakups are not so bad afterall. You get to keep memories FOC, yes!
The memories run like a film without a sound...
They are for keeps.

YWith love, Valerie
